25 year old Australian Sport Climber from Melbourne, Australia, travelling the world competing and climbing on the international stage. I fell in love with the sport of climbing when I was 8 years old, and since then I’ve never really looked back. If I’m not climbing, you can usually find me eating ice cream, playing video games, or doing both!

Do you have any rituals before competing?

I try to avoid too many pre-comp rituals, and choose rather to just go with the flow and not get too caught up in the little things before a big event. I can get pretty nervous and jittery when it’s time to perform, so the most important thing for me is to slow down and breathe deep before I start to climb.

What is a hidden talent that you have?

I’m an avid car and shower singer!

What are your top 3 values?

1. Going out of my way to be there for my family and friends.
2. At the same time, protecting and preserving my own boundaries, and respecting the boundaries of others.
3. Being a positive role model that stands up for others.

Interesting fact or story about your time as an athlete

Five years ago I went vegetarian with a friend just to try it out, and never looked back since! I love the way eating a plant based diet makes me feel, not only in my body, but in knowing that I’m making good choices for the environment and against animal cruelty.
